Kristin Shaw
Director of Spa Services

As the Director of Spa Services, Kristin oversees the day to day operations of Plus One’s spa and esthetician programs. She is responsible for hiring and training all spa staff. In addition, Kristin provides valuable creative input on treatments and environment in the development of new and prospective spas. Kristin is a graduate of the Swedish Institute and a practicing therapist for over 11 years. Her extensive training includes various massage modalities as well as cranio-sacral therapy, myofascial techniques and reflexology. Before joining Plus One, Kristin worked in various spa environments throughout Manhattan. She also spent time traveling North and South America as the Massage Therapist for musicians for well known music bands. Kristin joined Plus One in 1997 as a therapist at the Palace Hotel and was later a featured therapist at our renowned Plaza Hotel location. In January 2005 she was awarded the title of Certified Spa Supervisor by the International Spa Association. Kristin joined the Plus One Corporate Office Team in 2002 as the Associate Director of Spa Services and was appointed Director in October 2005.
